Business Development Representative

Axis is a family-owned company focused on emerging training and competency technology in the Oil and Gas space. We are a fun, dynamic and innovative company with industry leading technology. Our current clients include 3 of the top 5 Oil and Gas companies in the world (among others). As industry trends evolve, our technology team is actively responding by designing new concepts and technology to stay ahead. We are very unique in that regard! To date, we have four active client applications residing on both the Apple and Microsoft store.

Specific Axis offerings you will be expected to actively market:

  • Competency Management Technology and Services
  • Training services (Computer-Based & Instructor-Led)
  • 3D modeling and simulation through animation
  • Operating Procedure Development
  • Other consulting services as required

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect new accounts while securing face-to-face client meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Actively research and pursue announced/planned, major capital projects in the upstream, downstream and LNG markets
  • Manage select existing accounts to grow Axis footprint
  • Regularly report back industry trends to Axis management… this helps us stay ahead of the competition!
  • Work with team leads to develop project budgets to fit within proposals
  • Present/Demo Axis technology to prospective clients
  • Represent Axis values and ethics in all manners of client/co-worker relationships

Qualifications

  • Proven success with developing new clients and territories
  • At least 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas sales
  • Ability to present complex technical solutions to management, field, and engineering personnel
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Proficient in both MSWord and Excel

Pay: $75,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
